Kabul (BNA) At least 9 insurgents were killed and 16 others were wounded during joint military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in northern Balkh province.
Col. Mohammad Hanif Rezayee spokesman of 209 Shaheen army corps said BNA reporter, the operation have launched aiming to annihilate armed rebels in Arzangar regional Chahar Bolak district of Balkh province.
Gul Nabi Mubarez shadow district governor of Taliban militants for Chamtal district, Balkh province was among the dead.
