Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Second Vice-President Mohammad Sarwar Danesh, a security meeting attended by Chief of National Directorate of Security, Mohammad Massum Stanekzay and representatives of other security organs, was held here on Wednesday, his office said.
The meeting discussed issues about how to tighten security of the upcoming Ashura and the Martyrs Week, with the security representatives shared their plans and assured the vice-president of full security on the occasion in the capital and provinces.
At the meeting it’s emphasized that a coordination between the people and the security organs should be made to overcome any security threats during the future ceremonies.
