ARCS and IHH Officials Meets in Istanbul to Discuss Humanitarian Aid Efforts

KABUL (BNA): Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Vice president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), along with his delegation, met with Wahid ul Din, the representative of the humanitarian charity foundation IHH, Mr. Junaid, responsible for humanitarian diplomacy at the foundation, and Mr.Hamza, responsible for Central Asian development projects, to attract humanitarian assistance in Istanbul, Turkey.

According to a statement from ARCS, the Vice president of ARCS thanked the officials of the foundation for their ongoing assistance to the people of Afghanistan, expressing hope for further cooperation in the future to aid fellow citizens in need.

Meanwhile, the officials of the foundation pledged to sustain their assistance to Afghanistan, reaffirming the organization’s ongoing commitment to support the country’s development and humanitarian efforts.

Additionally, they confirmed that a train carrying 650 tons of food and non-food items from Turkey to Afghanistan is currently en route and is expected to arrive within a week.
