Faizabad (BNA) Four people were lost their lives due to avalanche in Kofab district, northern Badakhshan province last night.
Col. Sakhi Dad Haidari security director of Badakhshan said BNA, four people residents of Kofab district, while wanted to go from Raghistan district to Kofab avalanche were trapped them in Chashma Shirshal Dara region of Kofab district and lost their lives.
Three dead bodies were pulled out under the snow and efforts continuing to pull out the body of another person from under the snow as well, Haidari added.
Meanwhile, Sayed Abdullah Hamayoun Dehqan head of counter-disaster department in the province says, assistances distribution have been started with coordination of charity organizations for avalanche’ affected families in Kofab district.
