Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah attended a ceremony here in UNAMA to mark the 70th anniversary of the United Nations.
In his speech at the ceremony, CE said that Afghanistan as one of founding members of the world body values and supports the programs of the United Nations. CE Dr. Abdullah also thanked the UN and its office in Afghanistan UNAMA for its role and backing the Afghan government. Speaking on the occasion, Nicholas Haysom the UN Special Representative to Afghanistan and head of UNAMA assured the world body’s support to Afghanistan.
