SF Air & Ground Operations Kill Taliban Militants In Balkh

Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) 22 Taliban militants were killed in Balkh province yesterday.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee spokesman of Shaheen 209 army corps told BNA, the insurgents were killed by air and ground raids of security forces in Chamtal District of the province.
According to Rezaee, 16 others insurgents have been injured and eight bodies of the enemies with quantity of weapons were also remains on the battlefield.
The operations of security forces has been started for cleaning of insecure regions in Chamtal district and continued there.
According to another report, six armed Taliban were killed after they stormed on national army checkpoint in suburb of Pul-e-Khomri city, Baghlan province last night.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee press in charge of Sheheen 209 army corps told BNA, Taliban stormed on national army checkpoint in Molayan village of Pul-e-Khomri city, in which six insurgents were killed and two others have been injured.
No harm and casualties sustained to national army forces in the raid.
