Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks in Sayed Abad district of Wardak province.
As per the information by the governor’s office on two separate incidents, a suicide bomber blew himself up close to a guard tower of the district headquarters, while the second incident involved another suicide bomber who detonated his explosives-laden vehicle on a road near the district police HQ leaving in total 12 people dead and around 47 others wounded.
Strongly condemning the brutal acts of terror, President Karzai said,” Targeting innocent civilians in public areas demonstrated nothing, but an utter hostility to Islam and mankind,” the President offers his deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the victims and prays for the quick recovery of those injured.
