Maimana (BNA) Eight armed insurgents were killed and six others were injured during clashes with ANSF in the last 24 hours in four districts of Faryab province.
Mohammad Reza Rezayee head of Shaheen 209 army corps told BNA, armed Taliban with cooperation of foreign insurgents carried out massive attacks to capture police checkpoints in several districts of Faryab province which were faced with sever resistance of Afghan National Security Forces, in which eight insurgents lost their lives and six others were wounded.
The source said, in the clashes, a policeman and a civilian were also injured.
