Kabul (BNA) Large number of armed insurgents killed in a clearing operation conducted by national army forces in Khost province the other day.
Defense ministry spokesman said BNA, the national army forces conducted a clearing operation for elimination of armed insurgents in insecure areas in Sabri district of Khost province, in which a large number of insurgents were killed and wounded.
A quantity of military equipment was seized by the forces.
According to another report, the national army forces carried out an operation in outskirts of Paktika province, a large number of insurgents were killed and wounded.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized in the operation.
