Kabul (BNA) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Issuing Licenses under one-stop-shop was signed between Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) and Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MoCI).
In a ceremony held on this occasion the other day in Kabul, acting minister of information and culture Mohammad Tahir Zuhair and acting minister of commerce and industries Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani spoke related to the aim and importance of the agreement, adding that in accordance to presidential decree and to better services to countrymen and simplify affairs, the issuing process of license under one-stop-shop would be soon implemented. The ministry of information and culture is the first government institution ready to implement it; therefore, an official representative has been introduced to the ministry of commerce and industries. The new mechanism, which has reduced time period of issuing license to even one hour, is considered as a step towards maintaining transparency and strengthening good governance.
