Seven Armed Rebels Kill

Kabul (BNA) Seven insurgents were killed in clashes with Afghan security forces in Kandahar province the other day.
The incident occurred when a group armed oppositions wanted to target passengers in Panjwai district the night before last.
Deputy police chief of Panjwai told BNA, seven insurgents including their commander were killed in the clashes.
According to the security officials, armed oppositions wanted to target two vehicles carrying civilians to Kandahar city.
It has been said, there were no casualties among security forces and civilians.
Witnesses said dead bodies of and several weapons remained at the site.
