Taliban Terrorists Killed in Helmand Clashes

Lashkargah (BNA) Twenty-five armed Taliban were killed in fighting with security forces in Helmand, and eight other Taliban were wounded.
The clashes took place last night in Nad Ali, Sangin and Nawa districts.
The battalion’s media office in south of the country said in a press release that the fighting took place following a Taliban attack on military bases and convoys.
The corps confirmed that 25 insurgents had been killed and eight others wounded in the fighting.
According to another report, the security troops prevented a series of explosions in Helmand by detecting and neutralizing 16 mines.
No one has been arrested in connection with the bombings.
