Maimana (BNA) ANA forces prevented suicide attack on a security forces base in Almar District, Faryab in a pre-emptive operation.
The Ministry of Defense announced today that the Taliban intended to target a security forces base in Almar district of Faryab province with a car bomb last night.
As a result of the pre-emptive operation, a Taliban car bomb was targeted by ANA forces, killing three suicide bombers and wounding seven others.
