Tuesday June 27, 2017 Kabul (BNA) Over 23 armed oppositions were killed, 12 wounded and their top commander was arrested during military operations led by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country. Ministry of Defense (MoD) press office in a statement reported BNA, the operations were conducted with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate armed rebels and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Parwan, Paktia, Khost, Ghazni, Kandahar, Urozgan, Kunduz, Takhar and Helmand provinces. Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war equipment belonging the terrorist group have been discovered and seized during the operations as well, the source added.
