Denmark Assists Afghanistan In Vocational Training Programs

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with Kristian Jensen, Danish minister of foreign affairs here the other day, a presidential statement said.
According to the statement, the both sides discussed issues related to mutual interest, adding that the president thanked Danish assistance to Afghanistan and praised the country’s sacrifices in war on terror within the framework of NATO in the previous years.
Hinting to Denmark’s experience of vocational trainings and higher education, the president asked the country to assist Afghanistan in the said fields.
The Danish foreign affairs minister assured president of his country’s long-term support of Afghanistan, pledging to help provide employment opportunities for Afghan migrants willing to return back to their country through vocational training programs.
According to another report, Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah also met with Danish minister of foreign affairs here the other day in Spidar Palace.
