To Prevent Corruption, Income Collecting System Should be Created, Masoud

Kabul (BNA) High Commission of Reforms and City Development’s session was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Ahmad Zia Masoud, Special Envoy to President on Reforms and good Governance.
In the session held with participation of minister of water and energy, advisor to president on urban development affairs and deputy minister of relevant ministries, participants discussed on digging wells in Kalakan area, repulsing surface of Kabul waters and measuring plan of Qargha dam.
In the session Kabul municipality delivered report related to the modality of collecting the municipality’s in comes, asserting that new regulations with identification of income, asserting that new regulation have been sent to ministry of justice, but no news in this regard from the ministry so far.
After hearing reports delivered by member of the commission related to collecting incomes by municipality, especial envoy to president on reforms and good governance said municipality was considered as one of the incoming resources in other countries, but lack of a proper system in connection with collecting incomes has causes that incomes of Kabul municipality were collected in a good way, asking the municipality to create a proper system in this regard.
