Jalalabad (BNA) Seventeen people have been arrested on criminal offenses in Nangarhar province.
The people were arrested during the recent days in clearing operations of Afghan security forces from parts of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, narcotic drug and weapons were seized from the detainees.
The arrested people charged with kidnapping, robbery, murder, and drug trafficking, he added.
