Kabul (BNA) At least 173 armed oppositions were killed, 83 wounded and nine others were arrested during military operations launched by Afghan security forces in different parts of the country.
Ministry of National Defense with sending a written letter stated BNA, the operations separately were conducted to suppress armed rebels and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Kapisa, Nangarhar, Laghman, Paktika, Ghazni, Kandahar, Urozgan, Herat, Farah, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war military have been seized following the operations as well, the source added.
