PUL-e-AlAM (BNA) Nearly two tons of expired food and non-food items were destroyed in Logar on Sunday.
Local officials at Pul-e-Alam Municipal said to Bakhtar News Agency “the expired and substandard materials include food, non-food and non-alcoholic beverages collected and destroyed by the joint team of Pul-e-Alam municipality, public health, agriculture and industry, and trade.
The food and non-food item were collected two weeks ago from shops downtown of the province and has put to fire, while the representatives of the relevant department were present, said a source.
He added that the process of collecting expired and low-quality materials continues in the province of Logar.
