Thousands of families in Bamyan receive cash

Bamyan (BNA) World Food Programme (WFP) continues to distribute cash to 7,350 families in the capital of Bamyan province yesterday as part of its ongoing humanitarian assistance.

Habibollah Mohammadi, the institute’s supervisor, told BNA, the process of distributing cash to 73,350 eligible families who had already been surveyed and identified started with the presence of a representative of the governor and the directorate of Bamyan immigrants and retpatriations. Twelve thousand three hundred and fifty (12,350) afghanis will be distributed to each family, he said.
