Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA): The reconstruction work of Khanaqai Kalan (shrine) in Dehdadi district of Balkh province began yesterday.
In his address on the occasion, the head of information and culture department of Balkh province Salih Mohammad Khaliq said that the reconstruction of monument dates back to 13th century would cost 95000 Euros and funded by Germany and Agha Khan Foundation.
The work for the reconstruction of Nogunbad Mosque, Khawaja Abu Nasrparsa shrine, recreation park of Balkh in Balkh district, the tombs of Amir Shir Ali Khan and Amir Wazir Akbar Khan is also going on, he added.
