Faizabad (BNA) Armed Taliban attacked on Baharak district, Badakhshan province last night.
In the attack 60 Taliban insurgents including shadow governor of them were killed.
A source of national security department of the province told BNA, armed Taliban attacked on the mentioned district, as a result of security forces attack in the site, they were forced to push back, in which 60 armed Taliban including Qari Amanuddin shadow governor of them lost their lives.
Likewise, Colonel Sakhidad Haidari chief of Badakhshan security directorate said that currently Baharak district were cleared from existence of Taliban and security forces started operation from two directions on Shohada district and now clashes continued in the site.
