NSC Denounces Attack On Judges, MP, Vows Tight Security

Kabul (BNA) The National Security Council (NSC) chaired by President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, discussed some topics on the agendas, a statement from the presidential palace said the other day.
The participant security officials providing reports about the security situation in some turbulent provinces of Helmand, Uruzgan, Laghman, Kunduz, Sar-e-Pul, Baghlan, Faryab, Paktya, Paktika and Kunar, lauded the bravery and devotees of the security forces of the country in their war on the enemies and gave needed instruction for preventing the next possible security threats in the country, the statement said.
The National Security Council (NSC) denounced the terrorists attack that led to the death of a number of judges and recently mine blast resulting in the death of house of people member, Shir Wali Wardak and vowed firm security plan for the country’s justice and judiciary organs through the security and defense entities, the statement added. The NSC also expressed pleasure over the Salma Dam – Afghan-Indian Friendship Dam project inauguration and lauded the security plan taken for its full security in Herat province, according to the statement.
The council also discussed the rights policy of the martyrs and cripples and instructed the organs concerned to finalize it for approval by the next session of the NSC, the statement continued. The council members also exchanged views on the forces financing the Taliban and Daesh and instructed the defense and security organs for immediately drying up of the terrorists’ source of finance, the statement concluded.
