Kabul (BNA) Lower House of parliament unanimously approved that head of a commission for addressing media violations should be minister of information and culture (MoIC), BNA correspondent reported.
After discussing on differentiating article between lower and upper houses, lawmakers unanimously approved that minister of information and culture should chair the commission for addressing media violations. The issue was approved at a time when senators were asking for selection of the commission’s chairman by members of the commission, but the request was rejected by lower house of parliament and instead approved that minister of information and culture should head the commission.
