Chief of Army Denies Existence of Terrorist Groups in Afghanistan, Calls for Responsible Statements

KABUL (BNA) the Chief of army of the country, Hafiz Mohammad Fasihuddin Fitrat, responded to the statements made by Pakistani military officials, categorically rejecting allegations regarding the existence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

Fitrat emphasized that such claims were made solely by officials from the neighboring country and lacked efficiency.

Addressing the press at a military briefing, Fitrat highlighted the importance of responsible statements in addressing issues between the two neighboring nations.

He firmly stated that making baseless allegations not only fails to solve the underlying problem but also harms the long-standing good relations between the two countries.

Fitrat’s remarks came in response to recent statements made by Pakistani military officials, which alleged the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

The Chief of Staff firmly denied these assertions, asserting that they were unfounded and lacked evidence.
