Kabul (BNA) A session of cultural committee of high commission for Nawroz festival 1393 was held under chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Ghulam Nabi Farahi.
In the session which was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and organs the head of cultural committee of high commission for holding Nawroz festival talking said, “Leaders and representatives of 13 Nawroz zone countries are to take part in Nawroz festival of 1393 and various cultural programs as publishing of books, holding concerts, staging plays, exhibitions, sports, Buzkashi, wrestling competitions and documentary films are to be shown.
Meanwhile, Farahi asked writers and poets to send their literary pieces and poems related Nawroz to Deputy Ministry of Tourism so that prizes be awarded to bests.
He added designers and experts who could prepare their designs in connection with sign and logo of the ceremony are asked to send their works to the deputy ministry.
Ministry of Information and Culture in particular the cultural committee is determined to provide prizes for the best design.
