Herat City (BNA) Ammunition and mine storage belonging Taliban militants had been confiscated and exploded by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in western Herat province.
A commander of Afghan National Army in Herat told BNA, the storage was located in Orayen region, Shindand district of the province, which discovered and exploded during a mopping-up operation under the code name of “Zafar 38” conducted by Afghan security personnel.
The operation was launched aiming to clean the district from being of armed oppositions in the district.
