Afghan Wounded Warriors Obtain Two Medals in Invictus Games

Kabul (BNA) Wounded warriors from Afghan National Security Forces succeeded to obtain two medals from Invictus games held in Toronto City, Canada.
According to BNA report, Seddiq Seddiqi head of the government media center who accompanying the team said, that Afghan wounded warriors could to achieve one silver medal and a bronze medal from this competitions.
Mohammad Eisa Akbari and Nasir Ahmad Halimi in power lifting field are the winner of the medals, Seddiqi added.
It is mentionable that, 7 Afghan wounded warriors are participating in the tournaments, which the main aim of the competitions are giving morals to wounded warriors.
Invictus Games since 2014 has been held in Canada, in the current year 550 wounded warriors from 17 countries are competing against each other.
