Kabul (BNA) Regretfully, I was informed that the enemies of peace and security of the people of Afghanistan in a bloody terrorist attack in Taluqan, the Takhar provincial capital has martyred a number of innocent defenseless countrymen including Abdul Mutalebh Baig an influential personality and an elected deputy at the House of People and wounded a number of others.
I strongly condemn this inhuman terrorist attack on innocent civilians and call it against all human and Islamic norms.
I convey my sympathies to dear countrymen who were martyred at this tragic incident and wish immediate recovery to the wounded of the incident.
This bloody incident is not the only one that is carried by the sworn enemies of the country and not the last, yesterday tens of our countrymen including our women children, was martyred at the Ashura Mourning Ceremonies in Kabul and today tens of our countrymen were martyred during the funeral ceremony in Taluqan.
Such actions indicate that terrorists are not only the enemy of our authorities, but they are also the enemy of our influential of Afghanistan and the perpetrators of crime against humanities and it shows that the government of Afghanistan and the international community should act in harmonized manner against terrorism.
The enemies of the people of Afghanistan should not forget that our people are united in safeguarding their country and they will not leave the path for ensuring peace and security in their country.
I ask the country’s security forces to undertake proper measures for prevention of such incidents in the future.
