Kabul (BNA) A National Army unite troops conducting in serious joint clearing operations in the relevant area of Sayed Abad district, Maidan-Wardak province and Sayed Karam district, Paktia province as a result of which two insurgents were killed and three others arrested with some weapons and ammunitions.
Ministry of Defense press office told BNA, in another operation carried out in Sakhroad district, Nangarhar province five armed oppositions including three foreigners killed and another injured.
Also during a clearing operation in Logar province two insurgents were killed and another arrested.
16 different mines, a bag of ammonium nitrite fertilizer, a bag of Net and Bold, some ammunitions, a coil of electricity wire, 850 Kg poppy seeds, 6 Kg hashish and a motorcycle discover and set on fire during a clearing operation launched in Maiwand district, Kandahar province.
During clearing operation in Balabalock district, Farah province 11 enemies were killed, 14 injured.
Also during the operation two corolla cars destroyed and three mines seized and defused.
In another operation in Sare-Pul province a suspect along with a Kalashnikov and a motorcycle was arrested.
According to another report, two national army forces were martyred and eight others injured during several clashes with armed opposition.
