TARINKOT (BNA) Security officials in a special operation discovered 2700 Kg narcotic drugs from relevant areas of Uruzgan province.
The drugs discovered by security officials in two separate incidents yesterday.
According to the reports, in the special operation clashes also occurred in which three smugglers were killed and three others wounded.
Farid Ayel Uruzgan police spokesman told BNA, 1500 Kg opium discovered while the traffickers were transferring from Trinkot city to Charchino district.
It has been said, the traffickers placed the drugs carefully among others materials in two vehicles.
The rest opium was kept in a house in Trinkot city.
A number of insecure provinces like Uruzgan province since years evidenced of cultivation, production and trade of opium.
