Commission To Work On Modalities of Foreign Forces Presence After 2014: Azimi

Kabul (BNA) Spokesman for defense ministry General Zahir Azimi said yesterday that a commission would work on the modalities of the presence of foreign forces in the country after 2014.
He made the remarks in the wake of reports that up to 12,000 American forces would remain in Afghanistan after 2014 pullout of NATO-led force from Afghanistan.
George Listel the spokesman of Pentagon at the end of the conference of NATO member states defense ministers in Brussels on Friday ruled out the reports of Keeping 8000 to 12000 troops in Afghanistan after 2014.
Meantime, the Secretary of Defense of US has not ruled out troops’ presence after 2014, saying President Obama is reviewing the alternatives in this regard. General Azimi, however didn’t provide more details on the report.
