Officials Hail Election Security Coverage, Say Public Trust Increased On “ANSF”

Kabul (BNA) Afghan forces once again proved the surge groups that they were competent in maintaining security to the people of Afghanistan.
The outstanding performance of the Afghan security institutions during elections removed all sort of speculations and misconceptions on war potentials of the brave and courageous sons of this land serving in the rank of Afghan armed services.
In a recent statement, President Karzai congratulated the nation holding of the elections and said that the Afghan people made another history by voting in the elections.
The president expressed his gratitude and appreciations to the job of Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) who made it possible for the people to vote.
“The people of Afghanistan with their vast participation in the elections marked another page of history in Afghanistan’s shining history,” President Karzai said.
“It is the matter of pride that all security arrangements of the process were upheld by the Afghan security forces.”
The Independent Election Commission (IEC) also congratulated the nation comprehensive security measures undertaken by the Afghan security organs.
“Afghan forces vowed that no threat will undermine public determination for voting and the security forces made it possible, despite the challenges, elections were conducted successfully without any obstruction,” IEC chief Ahmad Yousuf Nuristani said.
In addition, a number of legislators also expressed their appreciations to the Afghan forces who worked hard to maintain security during the elections.
“Afghan forces revitalized public trust on their capabilities and people must be thankful to them, because they maintain capability to shoulder security of the country alone,” MP Shukria Barakzai said.
“Today, all Afghan people are proud of their armed forces, because they have now attained capability to provide security to their country and the election security reveal this fact and our people voted in a peaceful environment,” Badakhshan MP Fawzia Kofi said.
In the meantime, runoff candidates have declared the elections as an important event for political stability of Afghanistan, Candidates have urged large turnout in the elections indicate that Afghan forces have enough capability to secure the country.
“Afghan forces accomplished their duties in fair and honest manner, because prior to the elections, there were some rumors about disrupting the elections, fortunately, large public participation is the electrons reveals this fact,” presidential candidate Abdullah Abdulla said.
World countries have also offered their congratulations and appreciations to Afghanistan for holding successful elections.
International community believes Afghan security forces have now found enough war potentials to overcome on the security threats.
Political commentators have also shown satisfactions over war capabilities of Afghan troops and said that public trust on war potentials of Afghan forces have increased.
“However, the insurgents always warned to disrupt election, fortunately, Afghan forces succeeded to security the people and the elections process, people by commuting to polling brightened name of the country, job of security forces must be appreciated,” political analyst Jawed Kohistani said.
“Afghan forces must be appreciated, this will help them to manage all events, public confidence on Afghan forces have increased, because Afghan troops proved that they were able to confront the insurgents,” another analyst Mohammad Iqbal said.
“Armed opponents only resort on propaganda,” Despite rumors on security threat, Afghan on Saturday voted in the fun-off elections and no visible security risk that could undermine legitimacy of the polling reported.
