Kabul (BNA) Two military copters of NATO forces crashed in Maidan-Wardak and Paktia provinces today.
Reports reached to BNA said, the reasons of the crashes of these copters have not cleared yet.
It is said that at least six NATO soldiers have been killed in these copters.
According to reports reached to BNA, the first helicopter collided around 11:30 am in Marzak area of Sare-i-Rawoza district of Paktia province.
Hamidullah Mubariz Spokesman of 505 Speenghar zone told this news agency, in this event three NATO soldiers lost their lives.
Mubariz said, the copter collided on a nonresidential area which had no civilian casualties.
The second copter of NATO crashed around 2:00 pm in Khoshkak Mountain of Nerkh district in Maidan-Wardak province on a nonresidential area.
Mohammad Hanif Hanifi district governor of Nerkh confirmed the crash of the copter but said nothing regarding the casualties of the event.
Regarding the reason of the crash Hanifi said nothing, but the residents of the area said this copter collided due to attack of armed Taliban and two NATO soldiers have been killed in the copter.
NATO in a press statement confirmed crash of a copter in Paktia and said that two NATO soldiers lost their lives in this crash.
The statement refused the attack of armed Taliban which caused the crash of the copter.
Investigation have been started to clear the reason of the event, said the statement.
