Kabul (BNA) Two senior commanders of Haqani network were killed in an operation in Paktia province.
Qari Azam and Mokhlis two commanders of Haqani network were killed in their hideouts in two different parts of Zormat district.
BNA quoting NATO reports, these commanders targeted by Afghan and NATO forces while organizing aseries terrorist attacks and lost their lives.
NATO said the commanders were responsible for most terrorist attacks in different parts of Pakita province.
It is being said that these commanders have close link with Haqani terrorist leaders and other Pakistani terrorist groups.
Local authorities of Pakita province said with the killing of the two commanders, the security will improve in the province. T. Suraya-Yarzada
