Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani visited Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital here and enquired the victims of the suicide attack rocked Khost city on Thursday.
The president also instructed the doctors in the hospital to spare no efforts in providing medical treatment to the injured persons.
President Ghani also condemned the deadly suicide bombing in Khost city which had claimed 17 lives and injured 64 others. The attacker blew himself up among hundreds of protesters who were staging a peaceful demonstration against the acting governor of Khost province and demanded his removal.
Meantime, the Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah also condemned the terrorist attack in its strongest term.
In his message, the Chief Executive put the attack on the enemies of peace and instructed the ministry for public health to shift to Kabul those injured whose treatment is impossible in Khost.
