Kabul (BNA) 94 armed insurgents were killed in joint clearing operations conducted by ANA troops in different parts of the country, national defense ministry said.
According to defense ministry press office to BNA, the operations were launched to annihilate armed insurgents in the outskirts of Nangarhar, Laghman, Khost, Sar-e-Pul and Helmand provinces, in which 94 armed oppositions lost their lives, 24 wounded and 20 others were detained on charges of cooperation with insurgents.
Likewise, numerous of heavy and light weapons, military equipment was seized and tens of anti-vehicle mines were discovered and neutralized by security forces in the operations.
Another report says that 2 ANA soldiers were martyred in explosion of mine during their security mission.
