Kabul (BNA) As many as 12 armed insurgents including their 2 local commanders were killed and 12 others were wounded during military operations conducted by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of national defense press office reported BNA, the operations were launched to annihilate armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kunar, Parwan, Ghazni, Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Farah, Badghis, Faryan, Nimroz and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons belonging the terrorists have been seized during the operations as well, the source added.
