“The Government Strives In Addressing Uruzgan Resident’s Problems:” Khalili

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Shirzad Governor of Uruzgan, Chairman and Members of Provincial Council of Uruzgan province met with Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president and the governor of the province shared the environmental problems there. 
He complained over lack of basic roads and problems in other spheres. 
He mentioned the need for building of the road from Urozgan-Kandahar saying that this road can connect the province with Daikundi and Bamyan and this way resolve problems of the people. 
Ensuring of electricity power for the people is another requirement of the people shared with Khailili. 
He noted that many projects have been designed and these can meet the needs of over 3,000 residents in the center of the province while due to budgetary limitations the projects have been suspended while there are possibilities for building of water reservoirs for producing electricity. 
He noted that the residents of the province are also facing limitations in the area of education and asked the government to address their problems.  
Shirzad expressed satisfaction over distribution of winter aids by the government to tens of thousands of families and added that fortunately NSP has also started its program in several districts and it is proceeding well. 
Khalili recalled the efforts of the governor and the provincial council in expansion and development of the province and stressed that there is need for addressing the problems of the people. 
According to Khalili Urozgan province is a less developed and in accessible area and requires for development and the government is trying its best to meet the demands and address the problems of the people and he assured that he has instructed the related organs for addressing the problems and he will also visit the province in an appropriate time.
