28 Armed Rebels Killed In Provinces

Kabul (BNA) 28 armed rebels were killed, one injured and 31 others were arrested by national security forces. 
Interior ministry press office said to BNA, in the last 24 hours, the national police forces conducted ten combined operations in the outskirts of Kunar, Baghlan, Samangan, Kunduz, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Ghazni, Khost and Helmand provinces in which 28 members of armed Taliban were killed, one wounded and 31 of them has been arrested. 
It is said that in these operations, a quantity of light and heavy arms consists of 10 Kalashnikovs, 3 rocket launchers, 2 PK machine guns, 5 mines, 60 kg of explosive materials, 14 heavy ammunition, 1034 light ammunition, 5 pistols, 5 sets of communication sets and a motorbike were seized by national police forces. 
It is said that the in charges of national police discovered and destroyed 2 rocket, 34 PK shells, a BM-1 shell, 2 anti-vehicle mines and 20 kg of explosive materials which were placed for destructive and terrorist actions in the vicinities of Sar-i-Pul, Parwan and Nanggarhar provinces.  T.
