CE Meets Turkish Ambassador To Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a meeting yesterday with Turkish ambassador to Kabul discussed on strengthening of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In the meeting, the country’s chief executive while praising Turkey for its civil and military cooperation with Afghanistan in the past 13 years considered the country’s efforts as effective in strengthening of relations between the two countries. “Afghanistan sees Turkey as good friend and partner country; therefore, Afghanistan wants to continue its relations with Turkey”, chief executive added. Following, the Turkish ambassador to Kabul congratulated holding RECCA VI and SOM conferences hosted by Kabul to chief executive and considered the two conferences as significant for Afghanistan. He added Turkey was committed to continued long-term cooperation and relations with Afghanistan, saying that Turkey was to assess to open its diplomatic consulates in Afghanistan’s south and west to strengthen and accelerate its activities in the country.
