Dervishes Were Kings Without Throne: Dr. Raheen

Kabul (BNA) The minister of information and culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen while addressing on the 246th anniversary of the Khan Aqa Pahlawan in Kabul yesterday said that the Dervishes were kings without throne. 
In the ceremony attended by religious, scholars, Ulama, Chieftains, Sufis and elites of the city, Dr, Raheen  said that Kabul since long has been the center of service for the way of Shariat and Tariqat, saying like the Khaneqas of Pahlawan there were dozens more Khanaqa in Kabul which had serve for the cause of Sharia. 
Dr. Raheeen also noted that Khanaqa has been playing its role in promotion of Islam since first century. 
Highlighting the programs of the ministry for information and culture, Dr. Raheen said all the mosques and Khaneqas will be rebuilt and renovated. 
Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Rahmani the MP of Kabul and religious leader Mohammad Baqir Shikhzada also in their speeches highlighted the role of Khaneqa and Sufism, saying acting upon Sharia or Islamic law will help to build unity peace and security in the country. 
At the end Dr. Raheen inaugurated the library of Khan Aqa Pahlawan which was built in 1186 in the old city of Kabul.
