MoF Called on World to Respect Afghans Culture, Religious Values

KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, on Friday, while praising UNSC’s attention to considering more humanitarian aid for Afghanistan, calling on the world to respect the culture and religious aspects.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Afghanistan called on the US to release the country’s blocked assets and leaves all economic sanctions without any political abuse.

In response to the UN special rapporteur on women’s rights restriction, the Ministry said Afghan women’s rights, children, and minorities should be judged based on the cultural and religious values of Afghan society.

Since the people of Afghanistan are predominantly Muslim, the Afghan government considers the observance of the Islamic Hijab to be in line with the religious and cultural values ​​of the society and the aspirations of the majority of Afghan women and insists that the Afghan people Nothing has been imposed in opposition, added the statement.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, while respecting the religious freedom of its people and believing in resolving problems through dialogue, at the same time expects the nations of the world to understand the objective realities of Afghan society.

Respect the religious and cultural values ​​of the Afghan people and do not judge based on the biased and destructive reports of some media outlets and the propaganda of the opponents of the Islamic Emirate.
