Kabul (BNA) Aiming polio eradication, autumn round of polio campaign has started in central Parwan province today.
Dr. Abdul Khaliq Musadeq head of public health department in Parwan told in this round more than 158,000 under five years old children to be vaccinated and vitamin tablets will be distributed for 139,000 children under the age of 6 months to five years old.
Fazulldin Ayar governor of Parwan demanded from health workers and families to seriously pay attention on implementation of polio vaccination.
Meanwhile, Mawlavi Mohammad Jawed Hanafi head of Ulema council in Parwan asked from clergies to give awareness regarding polio vaccine for people.
