KABUL (BNA) – Alhaj Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqani, the Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, held separate meetings with officials of migrant affairs in Faryab and Panjshir provinces, stressing the importance of registration and providing assistance to all returnees.
During the meeting with Mala Saifuddin Jehadi, the head of migrant affairs in Faryab province, it was reported that hundreds of families had returned to the province from neighboring countries and were receiving both food and non-food assistance through collaborative efforts with government entities and institutions.
The Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqani, highlighted the shared responsibility of providing services to migrants and emphasized that no migrant should be left without assistance or registration in migrant offices. He called for increased efforts and better coordination with relevant entities to enhance support for returnees.
He stressed the need for transparency and improved coordination in migrant affairs to ensure effective and efficient support for those in need.
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation is committed to addressing the needs of returnees and ensuring that no individual is left behind. By prioritizing registration and offering comprehensive assistance, the ministry aims to create a supportive environment for returnees as they reintegrate into their communities.
