KABUL (BNA): The Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs has partnered with the HHR Charity organization to launch an alternative livelihood and food security program for the heirs of martyrs and people with disabilities. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two entities.
Under the MoU, 1,055 heirs of martyrs and disabled individuals will receive training in technical and vocational sectors to promote food security and economic self-sufficiency. The program, valued at $487,500, will be implemented over one year in Kabul, Zabul, Ghazni, Kandahar, Nangarhar, and Laghman provinces.
