Kabul (BNA) In two separate incidents, 12 armed militants were killed in Kandahar province.
Samim Kheplwak Kandahar governor’s spokesman said BNA; national police forces conducting clearing operation in Shah-Walikoot district killed 6 armed militants.
The operation conducted after attacking of armed militants on security posts in the district.
In the operation military equipment were also seized.
According to another report, six mine planters lost their lives in explosion of their own mine in Maiwand district of Kandahar province.
He added that six armed insurgents wanted to place a mine in a busy road for destructive activities and killing f innocent people, the mine exploded and killed them.
