Jalalabad (BNA) Five armed Taliban militants were killed in clashes of security forces in Nangarhar province and at least three others have been injured last night.
The conflicts occurred while dozens of armed insurgents associated to Taliban group stormed on border police checkpoints in Khogyani District.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, in the conflicts five Taliban militants were killed and three other have been injured.
He also confirmed martyring of two border policeman in the clashes.
Meanwhile eyewitnesses of the event said, heavy losses inflected to Taliban and their bodies have been transferred to Pakistan.
