Islamic Emirate Facilitates Conditions for Foreign Investors in Afghanistan: Delawar

 

KABUL (BNA): Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, engaged in discussions with the CEO of Jing Shen Company from China, along with their delegation. The focus of these discussions was on potential investments in the country’s mining sector.

The CEO of the Chinese company expressed a keen interest in investing in our natural resources, particularly in oil and gas mines.

The discussions revolved around the establishment of a standard oil refining factory and the sharing of the company’s expertise and capabilities in exploration, extraction, and oil and gas processing.

Delawar welcomed the Chinese company’s interest in making significant investments in Afghanistan’s mineral resources and the establishment of a standard oil refining factory.

He highlighted that Afghanistan has over 200,000 square kilometers of oil fields divided into five major zones.
