Govt. Violates Constitution Over Last Years: VP Danesh

Kabul (BNA) The Second Vice-President Sarwar Danesh said yesterday that the government including all the three forces had violated the rule of law over the last years, BNA reported.
Addressing a seminar to mark the country’s constitution 10th anniversary, the Second Vice-President said that the government including all three forces had repeatedly violated the rule of law in the fields of constitution and authorities over the last years.
In this regard he said that lack of political well to implement the law and poor supervision on the implementation of the law are the main challenges for the fulfilling of constitution. The Vice-President also noted that in many cases even about the government chart, authorities of central entities and coordination of the three forces have yet to be arranged.
On the modification of the constitution, the Vice-President said that some questions or critics made with regard to the constitution does not belong to the constitution in terms of technical points, adding there are questions about political and economic system and after 10 years of ratification of the constitution. The Vice-President Danesh, however, pointed out that the people can change the constitution with keeping in mind the requirements of the time and era.
